Everything Has a Price: A Sound-Rich Story

Hello, to complete this week’s assignment, my peer and I chose to create a sound reach story and vocalize it as a podcast. Our first challenge was finding a correct narrating style for two. Dialogue seems to be the best option;  therefore, we told our story via conversations. After we decided to style, came up with ideas at the circle of the requisite words. Despite his and I compromising main events, we wrote two different stories and had been talked details as so long as seven hours. In consequence of mutual concessions, we managed to create our script. However, vocalizing the story took much longer than we intended to so some lines were removed. After these preparations, we searched for voice effects which we decided on when we were writing our scripts. My peer and I added the sound effects in Camtasia Studio 9 after editing the audio tracks which we recorded by utilizing Audacity, rendered the file in the mp3 format and uploaded it on SoundCloud, and shared it as a link in this post. To elaborate the story was challenging but then recording our sounds with a bit of acting was joyful.
If that day came I would like to give this kind of a task to my students. This choice of mine stems from three main points. Firstly, this task can be applied to almost all age groups and all proficiency levels, even beginner-level students can vocalize basic dialogues and statements. Secondly, in that way, all students can experience the joy of creating something different. Thirdly, a teacher could hear all students’ voices at once.
